SGSA Annual Report and Accounts 2014/15

The Front Cover of the SGSA Annual Report

Early July saw the publication of the third Annual Report and Accounts of the Sports Grounds Safety Authority.

As a Public Body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the SGSA is required to present an Annual Report to Parliament. The Report sets out our mission and core functions, as well as a review of performance against our five strategic goals: Regulation, Education, Innovation, Delivery and Promotion. It also documents our Corporate Governance framework and presents a full set of accounts.

The Report covers the 2014/15 financial year.  Highlights of our activities covered in the Report include: our role with football clubs and local authorities; work undertaken for the England and Wales Cricket Board; our increasing international activity; and, the hosting of the first SGSA Safer Together Conference.  On the financial side, the Report documents the SGSA’s expenditure, income and commitments.

The full Annual Report and Accounts was published on 1 July.
